Mirage MR-W962

Mirage MR-W962 – winter tire for a wide range of passenger cars, which belongs to the budget class. Despite this, the model demonstrates confident traction on slippery and wet roads, as well as the effectiveness of passing snow-covered areas. To a large extent, this is ensured by the asymmetric tread, which is equipped with a large number of block units. The sharp edges formed by them allow for improved traction and braking performance. Moreover, all elements are densely covered with wavy lamellas, the effectiveness of which is manifested on ice.

The ring ribs formed by the blocks allow for the most predictable handling. Wide channels that densely encircle the entire surface of the tire reduce slush and aquaplaning to minimal values.

To improve the characteristics, especially in low-temperature conditions, special additives were added to the compound. Their action is aimed at maintaining the elasticity of the rubber and, as a consequence, preserving the gripping properties.
