The Minerva S210 winter tire is designed with the specific characteristics of the European climate in mind, with its so-called "warm winters". The model stands out for its improved traction on wet and snowy surfaces, as well as its quiet and smooth ride, fuel efficiency, and extended service life.
The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetric design with functional areas. One of these areas is allocated to the inner side of the tread with blocks - "petals" and curved drainage grooves. These elements improve traction and braking properties on wet surfaces, along with longitudinal grooves that effectively prevent the formation of a continuous water film in the contact patch. Another important feature of the pattern is the presence of thousands of 3D lamellae. The sinusoidal edges of the slots increase longitudinal traction on the most slippery winter surfaces. The "three-dimensional" profile of their vertical walls increases the stability of the blocks, preventing their deformation, which significantly improves the stability of traction and handling, making it easier to control the trajectory of the vehicle's movement.
