The Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 SUV summer tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of crossovers and SUVs. Structurally, it is a special version of the same "passenger" model, adapted to the heavy weight and high center of gravity of all-wheel drive vehicles.

Most of the technological solutions used in this model were previously applied to the same tire for passenger cars, where they proved themselves from the best side. One of them is the Dynamic Response technology, which gives the handling process speed and accuracy. It involves adding an additional cord made of nylon and aramid fibers to the carcass. Similar elements on the outside, due to their location, additionally enhance cross-stability when maneuvering on wet surfaces.
