The Lassa Snoways 3 winter tire features balanced characteristics, designed to be installed on virtually any modern passenger car. The joint Japanese-Turkish venture offers this model in over fifty sizes, with diameters ranging from 13 to 18 inches.
Improved traction on slippery surfaces
The tire is non-studded, yet still provides good traction on slippery surfaces. This is achieved through a combination of design solutions in the V-shaped tread pattern. One of these is the drainage grooves in the central part, which are angled and have an original curved shape. This enhances traction on snowy surfaces not only due to the formation of long edges but also by allowing the snow captured by the tread to be compacted.
Another positively influencing factor is the numerous lamellas. They compensate for the lack of studs by forming a total of several thousand traction edges. At the same time, the S-shaped form of their walls restricts the mobility of the blocks, which further reduces the risk of lateral skidding.
Confident behavior in complex conditions
The aforementioned drainage grooves have another feature - a variable width that increases as they approach the shoulder blocks. In combination with their curved shape and direction against the direction of motion, this significantly increases the throughput. Not only when draining water but also when draining a mixture of water, snow, and dirt.
