The Lanvigator Ice-Spider II winter tire is designed for North European regions. It is distinguished by increased traction properties on snow and ice, as well as a sufficiently smooth ride and low noise and vibration levels.
The tread pattern is notable for its aggressive design of the central part, typical of winter tires, where a continuous longitudinal rib is located with numerous "protrusions". They form a large number of elongated edges of different directions, which are continued in the form of block edge shoulders. This arrangement provides the tire with excellent performance on snow. Another important feature of the tread is the presence of studs. They have a classic design with round inserts, which is largely offset by the increased number of elements. Along with numerous lamellae of a saw-tooth shape, this allows the tire to demonstrate coupling stability and reliability of handling on the most slippery winter surfaces.
Key features:
- an increased number of studs, star-shaped grooves around them provide reliable traction properties on icy surfaces;
- a composite longitudinal rib in the central part with numerous "protrusions" increases directional stability and handling accuracy at high speeds, reducing wear and rolling resistance;
- an increased width of grooves in the shoulder areas, an optimized shape of block edges provide excellent traction in bad weather conditions
