Description Kingstar SK10
The Kingstar SK10 summer tire is one of the latest developments from one of China's largest manufacturers. The novelty is designed for the widest range of compact passenger cars, while boasting an attractive price-to-quality ratio.
Excellent directional stability
One of the distinguishing features of this model is its excellent directional stability when driving at any speed. The tire gained such capabilities thanks to the original structure of its tread pattern. It features five longitudinal ribs, including two shoulder areas. At the same time, the central longitudinal rib has very high structural rigidity, which made the tire's handling more refined.
Superb handling in any conditions
For this model, Chinese tire manufacturers preferred to use an asymmetric tread pattern, which boasts excellent characteristics in any road conditions. It consists of two main functional zones, each designed to solve a specific set of tasks. The outer part of the Kingstar SK10 tread pattern is designed to provide increased stability when maneuvering and cornering. That's why there are three longitudinal ribs located here. The other two ribs form the inner part of the tread, which provides excellent traction during straight-line driving.
High resistance to aquaplaning
The drainage system of this model is highly efficient even on very wet roads. This was achieved by placing four wide longitudinal grooves in the central part of the tread, which serve as containers for excess moisture. They are then directed outward through a system of transverse drainage channels. In addition, the surface of the shoulder areas features a multitude of straight lamellas, which, when in contact with a wet surface, literally sweep away water, thus providing more reliable traction.
