King Meiler HPZ

King Meiler HPZ – a summer model from the German brand, which has made a bet on the tread architecture, where each element is subject to one goal — predictability on the edge of grip.

"Skeleton" of the tire

The basis is a rigid carcass with an optimized layer layout. This provides a zero feeling of "sogginess" during sharp maneuvers and a stable turn radius at speeds over 180 km/h. The tire does not "float" on the track and does not require steering corrections — the directional stability is built in at the level of the geometry of the rib structure.
Braking dynamics is another "strong point" of the tire. Due to the increased contact patch and uniform pressure distribution, deceleration on dry asphalt occurs with a short, linear effort. On wet surfaces, drainage channels and edge properties of the blocks come into play.

Shoulder blocks

These are fairly large elements, the stiffness of which is calculated so that when entering a turn, they work as a single whole, without a deformation effect. The result is precise handling accuracy.

Margin of strength

The model is equipped with enlarged unidirectional grooves. Their cross-section is calculated with a margin. Even with a residual depth of 3-4 mm, the speed of water film cutting remains high. Moreover, unidirectionality creates a "turbulent water ejection" effect from the contact patch, which is especially critical when turning.
