Description Kenda Vezda AST
The Kenda Vezda AST summer tire for passenger cars is positioned by the Asian manufacturer as a model with a priority on comfort and stability in everyday operation. It is distinguished by balanced handling characteristics, stability on dry and wet surfaces, and an increased level of wear resistance.
The tread pattern is made in an asymmetric configuration, where each zone has its own functional purpose. The outer side, composed of massive and rigid ribs and blocks, is responsible for directional stability and steering precision at high speeds. The inner part of the tread contains a large number of curved and aggressively angled grooves, which provides stability of grip on wet surfaces.
An important feature of the model is the use of a compound with a high content of silicon dioxide — Silica Infused. This composition improves the elasticity of the tread, increasing the grip properties on wet asphalt and reducing heat buildup when driving on dry roads. The "silica" increases resistance to abrasive wear, which is why the tire demonstrates a long service life even when operated in conditions of frequent temperature fluctuations.
The carcass design uses a two-layer polyester cord with additional nylon reinforcement, which gives the tire an optimal combination of strength and flexibility. This allows for an even distribution of load over the contact patch area, increasing stability during maneuvering and reducing vibrations. The dense structure of the sidewall ensures a reliable fit of the tire on the rim, preventing its displacement even during sharp maneuvers.
Key features of Kenda Vezda AST:
- asymmetric tread with a rigid central rib improves directional stability and steering precision at high speeds;
- Silica Infused compound increases grip on wet surfaces and extends the life of the tire;
- reinforced carcass with nylon reinforcement provides reliability and comfort when driving on rough roads.
