The Joyroad Winter RX821 winter tire is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars. The model is offered in 12 sizes with a rim diameter from 13 to 18 inches. It is structurally close to non-studded Japanese winter tires, having comparable operational properties.
High lamellization density
The tread is literally pitted with narrow slits located a few millimeters apart from each other. This became possible due to the three-dimensional design of the lamellas, the side walls of which have faces directed in all three planes. These elements provide block stability when exposed to multidirectional forces. As a result, the contact patch has hundreds of sharp and high edges, with which the tire effectively grips even very slippery road surfaces. At the same time, the stationary blocks provide reliable and predictable handling, reducing the risk of skidding in all directions.
Improved snow traction
In the shoulder areas, at the intersection of longitudinal and transverse grooves, special rectangular slits are made. Their functional purpose is to collect, compact and retain snow in the tread. This creates a so-called "waffle" effect, which further enhances traction on snowy surfaces.
Key features of Joyroad Winter RX821:
- non-directional symmetrical tread pattern optimized for any winter surfaces;
- several thousand three-dimensional lamellas provide reliable traction on ice and rolled snow;
- rectangular slits in the shoulder areas enhance traction properties on snowy surfaces;
- wide shoulder blocks prevent skidding during maneuvering, ensuring stability during longitudinal accelerations.
