Universal scope of application

This tire is perfectly adapted for operation on both asphalt and dirt roads. This became possible thanks to the original S-shaped symmetrical non-directional tread pattern. The scheme of placement of tread elements is a combination of simplicity and efficiency. It consists of four longitudinal ribs, separated by drainage grooves. At the same time, each rib is a very rigid and solid structure. Thanks to this solution, the Jilutong LH668 tire demonstrates excellent course stability when driving on asphalt roads. In addition, the solid structure of the tread ribs, in fact, guaranteed low rolling resistance, which in turn ensured excellent fuel efficiency.

A characteristic feature of all longitudinal ribs is the zigzag shape of their edges. This made it possible to create numerous edges, thereby ensuring excellent traction and coupling characteristics, especially on slippery road surfaces. They were able to improve them even more thanks to special recesses on the outer side of the tread, which formed a kind of off-road tire lugs.
