The Imperial Ecodriver 5 summer tire can be installed on virtually any popular passenger car of small and medium class today. The model combines a soft comfortable ride and low noise level with reliable predictable handling and stable traction in the most difficult road conditions.
The balance is largely due to the design of the tread pattern with a symmetrical non-directional arrangement of elements. Its central part has high longitudinal and transverse stiffness. This gives the tire excellent directional stability and stability of traction properties, as well as reduces rolling resistance and fuel consumption. The shoulder areas, composed of enlarged transverse blocks, prevent skidding during maneuvering and reduce the braking distance.
Main features:
- longitudinally arranged blocks in the central part improve directional stability, reduce rolling resistance;
- diagonal grooves in the center of the tread additionally enhance resistance to aquaplaning, give the tire a softer ride;
- transverse lamellae in the shoulder blocks reduce the braking distance.
