The GT Radial SportActive 2 SUV summer tire is one of the versions of the same-name "passenger" model, differing from it with an enhanced construction that allows the tire to be used in SUVs and crossovers. On the go, it is characterized by resistance to aquaplaning, stable traction regardless of road and weather conditions, and a low level of noise and vibrations.
The tread of the tire is made of a rubber compound with an extended temperature range, at which optimal elasticity is maintained. This allows the tire to demonstrate stable traction properties regardless of weather conditions, including during the first autumn frosts. The tread pattern can be in two versions. Depending on the width, it can contain 4 or 5 longitudinal grooves. In both cases, these elements have an increased volume, which minimizes the risk of hydroplaning at almost any speed.
