The all-season tire Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure was created with consideration of the specific features of operating American-made pickups. Most of them are used not only on highways but also on dirt roads. At the same time, overseas car owners are not used to changing winter tires for summer ones and vice versa. Trying to meet all these requirements, Goodyear created a model literally for "all occasions in life", applying advanced technologies and modern materials to its design.
Kevlar breaker from DuPont
When presenting this model to the world press, the North American manufacturer particularly noted the presence of a breaker made from DuPont Kevlar fibers. This material is distinguished by its exceptional mechanical strength, elasticity, and low weight. Its use in the manufacture of the breaker layer allowed for the improvement of a number of important operational characteristics. The main one is the surprising softness of the ride, which was achieved without compromising reliability and load capacity. The latter is at a very high level. The exception is 12 sizes of this model, marked Pro-Grade, designed for Heavy Duty pickups and differing from regular versions in the presence of a two-layer Kevlar breaker.
Universal tread with open design
One of the distinctive features of the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tire tread is that its design has much higher performance off-road than on it. Like off-road models, it contains a large number of separate blocks spaced at a significant distance from each other, grouped into five longitudinal ribs. The presence of these components improves stability at high speeds and also contributes to faster and more accurate reactions of the tire to steering wheel turns. At the same time, the numerous blocks form a multitude of differently directed edges of adhesion during movement, ensuring confident behavior on dirt and slippery roads.
Multi-layer sidewall construction
Another technology applied to the design of this tire is Durawall. It represents a reinforced sidewall construction consisting of several layers. The outer one is made from a more rigid compound with increased resistance to punctures and cuts.
Reliable traction in sand and mud
This tire is characterized by decent off-road performance on surfaces with reduced carrying capacity. They are provided by the design of the shoulder areas. This part of the tread is made in an open design. However, unlike the center of the tread pattern, the blocks located here have more massive sizes. A significant part of these tread elements is located on the sidewalls, forming numerous edges of adhesion on them. This design feature is most vividly manifested when driving on wet earth and sand, as well as in deep snow, providing the tire with reliable traction with such types of coverage.

- a puncture-resistant and cut-resistant multi-layer sidewall construction increases reliability and extends the service life even in the most unfavorable operating conditions.
