The model uses two types of rubber. The upper layer is softer, responsible for traction characteristics when driving on icy roads, and maintains its softness even at extremely low temperatures. The second layer, located deeper, is more rigid and is designed to preserve the properties of sensitive handling at higher temperatures on wet surfaces. Thanks to this combination, the tire provides predictable behavior of the vehicle in various weather conditions.
Tread pattern construction specifications
The tread has a directional layout, with arrow-shaped blocks in the central part equipped with hybrid lamellas, which provides stiffness of the tread elements, reducing the deformation effect, as well as increased traction on loose snow. Additionally, the lamellas actively participate in removing snow, slush, and water from the contact zone.
The presence of saw-toothed blocks in the shoulder area, combined with deep grooves, provides increased traction on deep snow, and their operation also has a positive effect on handling sensitivity during maneuvering and braking.
