The Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV summer tire is designed for SUVs and crossover vehicles. The model's operational characteristics are selected to provide maximum performance on high-speed highways, especially in rainy conditions.
This is largely achieved through the use of DryStability Plus technology. It includes certain changes in the tread pattern and the composition of the rubber compound. The tread design features wide longitudinal ribs that enhance directional stability and handling precision. The drainage grooves between them reduce the risk of aquaplaning. In turn, the rubber compound has a high silica content, which gives the tread elasticity at low temperatures, allowing the tire to literally stick to the cold, wet asphalt.
