The summer tire Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric AT SCT, despite the presence of the AT abbreviation in its name, can be attributed to the All Terrain category tires with a number of reservations. The model is designed for use on paved roads, but the quality of their coverage can be almost any.
This "omnivorousness" is largely due to the elastic rubber compound, which does not transmit a significant part of the vibrations from the so-called "rough" asphalt. The tire's carcass also makes a significant contribution to ensuring comfort, providing a quieter and softer ride. At the same time, the developers were able to preserve the "signature" for the Eagle F1 line refined handling thanks to the Active Corner Grip technology, using enlarged blocks on the edges of the tread and zones of increased stiffness in the carcass structure underneath them.
Main features of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric AT SCT
- elastic rubber compound provides a quiet ride even on "rough" asphalt;
- "active cornering" technology improves stability when maneuvering;
- the optimized tread profile shape reduces the level of noise and vibrations.
