The compound used in the manufacture of the tread has a composition with an increased content of silicon dioxide. This component gives the tire elasticity, improving its grip on wet surfaces, while maintaining its resistance to abrasive wear at a high level. The tread pattern itself is distinguished by an increased volume and direction of drainage channels against the direction of motion. This reduces the risk of aquaplaning.
