The Fronway Icemaster I winter tire for passenger cars belongs to the so-called "friction" models, designed for use in regions with a very cold climate. It is distinguished by its course stability and comfort of handling on any slippery surface, fuel efficiency, and low noise level.
The directional tread pattern consists of a large number of small blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that in the contact patch, a continuous sequence of long V-shaped edges is formed. This design provides excellent longitudinal traction and course stability on snow, while maintaining low rolling resistance. The partial overlap of blocks in the central part further increases fuel efficiency. The presence of a huge number of lamellas with saw-tooth edges provides more intense deceleration and acceleration on ice.
