The Fenix RS-1 summer tire is designed for sports versions of passenger cars. Structurally, it is a racing tire adapted for "civilian" use. At high speeds, it is distinguished by exceptional stability of traction properties and precision in handling.
The tread pattern is made in a directional aggressive design. Externally, this is a racing tire for wet surfaces. Stability in such conditions is ensured by the V-shaped arrangement, curved shape, and large volume of water-dispelling grooves. The profile of the tread part of the tread is optimized so that the contact patch not only increases, but also retains its size and configuration under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. As a result, the reliability of traction properties is ensured, and in combination with the stiffness of the carcass and sidewalls, the speed and accuracy of the tire's reactions to the driver's actions are ensured.
