The Dunlop Winter Maxx WM03 winter tire is designed with the climate of the northern Japanese islands in mind, with their unique conditions. This model is most effective on wet and snowy roads, as well as on icy surfaces at temperatures around "zero".
A key feature of this model is its rubber compound. It includes farnezen-kauchuk, a material with a porous structure, the surface of which has numerous micro-irregularities that persist even under continuous abrasive influence. This allows the tire to intensely dry the contact patch, providing stable and sustainable contact with the road surface, including when it is ice covered with a thin water film from the rolling of the tire.
Main features of Dunlop Winter Maxx WM03
- special rubber compound that increases traction on icy surfaces;
- an increased number of blocks compared to the previous model provides higher traction properties on snow;
- an optimized tread profile, increased shoulder block width give the tire the "signature" handling for Dunlop tires.
