Dunlop SP Sport 9090 – a summer high-speed tire that is installed on a wide range of sports cars, including SUVs. It is characterized by a high degree of resistance to deformation, ease of handling at high-speed modes, as well as effective protection against hydroplaning.
The tread pattern of the directed type is designed specifically to provide a high level of handling. Its basis is a rib of the original shape, having a solid structure. Due to its "branching" it forms a large contact area with numerous grips. Moreover, many of the individual parts are connected by "stiffness bridges" that increase resistance to deformation. The presence of directed channels opening outward in the shoulder area allows for quick removal of not only moisture but also thermal energy, maintaining an optimal temperature level of the compound. As a result, the working characteristics are preserved even at intense high-speed modes.
An important aspect is also the noise reduction system, implemented through a special arrangement of block structures. The latter do not allow the formation of air whirlpools, ensuring a high level of acoustic comfort.
