Since the tire was initially designed for operation mainly on roads with a solid surface, the German tire manufacturers preferred to use a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern with massive blocks. At the same time, in the central part and shoulder areas, they are connected by rigid bridges. Thanks to this technical solution, it was possible to solve several problems at once. At the same time, the large distance between them allows the tread to effectively get rid of the dirt particles that get stuck in it.

The manufacturer offers the ContiCrossContact LX2 in more than 30 different sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter from 15 to 18 inches. At the same time, most of the sizes are designed for 16- and 17-inch wheels.
