The summer tire Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 was introduced by the Japanese manufacturer quite recently. Nevertheless, the short time on the market did not prevent it from becoming as popular as the two previous models. This is due to its technical characteristics, the level of which turned out to be significantly higher than that of most competitors.
Wavy drainage groove in the center
The drainage groove running exactly in the center of the tread has an original design. Its walls are made in a wavy shape, and there are special protrusions on the bottom. This design, previously tested on racing tires, gives the process of water diversion from the contact patch high intensity, which in turn increases the tire's resistance to aquaplaning.

The central tread ribs are also larger in size and have a very stiff design. This design gives the tire several important properties at once. First of all, it is increased stability and stability of grip properties when driving at high speeds. In addition, the stiff design of the tread ribs makes the car handling simple and predictable, thanks to the lightning-fast response of the tire to the driver's actions.
Silica-based rubber compound
More than half of the compound used in the manufacture of the tread is made up of silica. This substance based on silicon dioxide allows the tire to adhere very tightly to the road surface. In addition, the rubber compound contains new-generation polymers that give it uniformity, and also increase its tear strength. This feature ensures the integrity of the tread when driving at high speeds.
