Its appearance of the summer motorcycle tire Bridgestone Battlax BT-003 Racing Street is due to two factors. Firstly, it is the growth in popularity of "naked" bikes, which are becoming increasingly popular from year to year. The second factor is Bridgestone's participation in the MotoGP championship as a supplier of racing tires. This model is designed for urban motorcycles with engines from 600 to 1000 cubic centimeters and its design uses technologies that have proven their effectiveness in road-ring motorcycle racing.

3 LC + Ultraction Compound

This technology is composite, i.e. it consists of two technological innovations. Firstly, it is the use of two different elasticity rubber compound compositions. The central part of the tread is made of a more rigid rubber, and a softer rubber compound was used to manufacture the shoulder areas. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability when driving in a straight line and increased grip when cornering.

At the same time, the width of the zones where a softer rubber compound is used varies depending on the version of the tire. There are two of them - for the front and rear wheels. In the latter case, a more rigid rubber mixture is used on a significantly smaller area in the central part of the tread.

Features of the tread pattern

One of the key features of the tread pattern is the S-shaped drainage grooves. Their functional purpose also depends on which wheel the tire is installed on. At the front, these tread elements provide quick and clear response to the driver's actions, as well as high braking efficiency. On the rear wheel, the S-shaped grooves allow for more efficient realization of the engine torque. In addition, regardless of the installation location, these tread elements greatly simplify the maneuvering process.
