The BFGoodrich G-Force Winter 2 RP winter tire is designed for use in passenger cars. Among its main advantages is protection against the occurrence of slushplaning and hydroplaning. Thanks to this, the handling of the vehicle even on icy and wet roads remains predictable.
The model has a directed V-shaped tread pattern, which has a large number of grooves in the central part. On the one hand, the edges formed by them contribute to the improvement of traction and coupling characteristics. And on the other hand, a rapid removal of water masses and slush from the contact patch is ensured. This achieves clarity of management in winter conditions.
In addition to conventional ones, three-dimensional lamellas are used here, the number of which has been increased by 12% compared to the previous model. This factor had a positive effect on acceleration characteristics.
The compound has also undergone changes, which, in addition to silica, now contains sunflower oil. This allows the tread to remain always soft, even at low temperatures.
