Another feature of this tire is the rigid nature of the shoulder zone blocks, which allows minimizing the braking distance.
An important innovation for most Barum tires of this class is the presence of a tire wear indicator TWI, which shows how worn out the tire is. The developers recommend changing the tire as soon as the tread depth reaches three millimeters, since at this indicator, the tire's braking distance increases significantly, and the risk of aquaplaning arises.
