The all-season Avon ZV3 tire is designed for use on a wide range of passenger cars across various classes. The model stands out for its versatility, which is due not only to the tread structure but also to the specificity of the compound. It guarantees stable traction on dry, wet, and icy roads, and also performs well in snowy conditions.
The working part of the non-directional tread features three main elements: developed shoulder areas with pronounced segmentation, a solid rib shifted to the outer side, and a wide ring element with diagonal semi-grooves. Thanks to this diverse structure, the operational properties have been significantly improved. In particular, the solid rib has increased the responsiveness of handling, making the car more maneuverable. The wide rib with numerous segments improves the fixation of the contact patch on a slippery surface and also actively participates in the removal of water and dirt, being part of the drainage system. The wide shoulder areas and sidewalls of increased strength provide stability during maneuvering, reducing the car's tilts and improving traction on loose snow. It is worth noting that the side zones have protrusions that protect the disks from lateral damage. The side zones themselves are made of a more dense compound with increased thickness. Therefore, the tire effectively resists lateral cuts and other mechanical damage.
To ensure stable driving characteristics, a special compound with silica additives was used. Thanks to this, it adapts well to various temperatures of the environment, maintaining elasticity at the same level. As a result, not only traction and grip are preserved in any weather conditions, but also the intensity of wear is reduced.
Main features of Avon ZV3:
- versatility of operation on most modern passenger cars;
- improved traction on both dry and wet road surfaces, as well as in icy conditions due to the abundance of gripping edges;
- a compound with the ability to adapt to different temperature regimes thanks to silicon dioxide;
- precise handling and quick response through the solid ring rib.
