The XCMG XR900 tire is designed for operation on construction and quarry equipment, applied in conditions of high loads and aggressive coatings. The model is used on front loaders, quarry machines and other special equipment working on gravel, rocky and mixed soils.

Design and specifications

The tread pattern is made using massive blocks and increased groove depth, which meets the requirements of quarry operation. This geometry provides reliable traction with compacted and loose soil, promotes effective removal of small stones and mud from the contact area and reduces the risk of "clogging" of the tread. Wide inter-block spaces help maintain stable traction when working on wet and contaminated surfaces.

A robust carcass increases resistance to punctures, cuts and impact loads that occur when contacting sharp rock fractions. Reinforced sidewalls additionally protect the tire from mechanical damage during maneuvering and operation in confined spaces, as well as contribute to maintaining shape under high loads.

Special compound

The applied rubber compound is characterized by increased resistance to abrasive wear and thermal loads. This allows to slow down the tread wear when working on rough coatings for a long time and maintain operational characteristics throughout the entire service life. The optimized profile provides a uniform distribution of intra-tire pressure, increasing the stability of the equipment and reducing local loads on individual areas of the tire. This has a positive effect on ride comfort and predictability of vehicle behavior.
