Description Barum Industry Solid
Barum Industry Solid – a special tire designed to serve one purpose: stable operation of a forklift in high-intensity mode. This is not an ordinary industrial tire, but a comprehensive engineering solution for warehouses, distribution centers, and production shops with heavy loads and around-the-clock operation.
Overload Resistance Technology
When working with the maximum permissible payload, many tires start to "float" — the contact patch deforms, the carcass overheats, and manageability decreases. In this model, this problem is solved at the architectural level. The reinforced breaker layer is made of two layers of steel cord with increased thread density. A solid cast construction that effectively resists deformation and damage. The result is that the geometry of the contact patch remains stable even after many hours of operation at the maximum payload. No uneven wear on the center or edges.
Industrial-Class Wear Resistance
Concrete and asphalt are an aggressive environment for any tire. Abrasive wear here is 3-4 times higher than on public roads. For this model, a special rubber compound has been developed with two key characteristics:
- increased content of high molecular weight polymers — they form a dense structure resistant to abrasion;
- uniform aging without chipping — unlike cheap compounds that crumble at the edges of the tread, it demonstrates smooth, predictable wear of the entire tread.
Key Features of Barum Industry Solid:
- reinforced breaker and sidewall profile prevent deformation of the contact patch even during prolonged operation at maximum payload;
- specialized industrial compound with high polymer content increases tire life on concrete and asphalt surfaces;
- optimized tread block spacing and angle of inclination provide traction on various surfaces;
- solid cast construction prevents local damage and increases tire life.
