Description Continental ContiMotion
The Continental ContiMotion summer tire is designed for sports touring motorcycles. To achieve excellent performance characteristics, the company's specialists used all their many years of experience and the latest technologies. After production is completed, the tire undergoes thorough visual and electronic control, so it has excellent quality and fully meets the declared parameters.
Reinforced Steel Casing
When driving at high speeds or over long distances, the tire is subjected to increased loads, which can lead to damage or rupture of the tread. To prevent these undesirable consequences, a special reinforced casing is used in this model. It is made using innovative technology and consists of a steel strip and reinforced cord. Due to this, the casing can withstand prolonged increased loads without problems and reliably protect the tire from possible damage. For improved directional stability, the middle part of the casing has increased stiffness.
Updated Tread Design
When creating the tread pattern, computer modeling was used, which made it possible to optimally distribute the grooves over the entire surface of the Continental ContiMotion tire. The water-dispelling channels have different depths and shapes, ensuring excellent traction on any road surface and preventing possible aquaplaning. The extended shoulder area has a sharp edge, which increases stability during maneuvers.
New Polymers in the Compound
When creating the compound, new polymers were used, which improved the traction and speed characteristics. They also increased traction on wet road surfaces and reduced the braking distance. The tire's wear resistance also increased, which made it possible to significantly increase the service life.
This model has proven itself well both on long trips and when driving at maximum speeds, so it is very popular among owners of various motorcycles.
Main Features of the Continental ContiMotion Motorcycle Tire
- a steel casing increases protection against possible overloads and prevents ruptures and damage;
- an optimal drainage system quickly removes water from the tread, increasing traction on wet surfaces, minimizing the effect of aquaplaning;
- new polymers have improved speed characteristics and increased tire mileage.
