The commercial tire Tracmax GRT928 is designed for use in mixed conditions, being intended not only for trucks but also for dump trucks and other equipment used on production and construction sites. It is recommended for installation on the driving axle.
The tread pattern is a combination of massive blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that in the contact patch, they form virtually continuous transverse edges, which provide increased traction on dirt roads, maintaining it when moving in both directions. The arrangement of blocks with an offset relative to each other reduces wear, prevents the tire from overheating when moving at high speeds and on smooth hard surfaces, while providing good stability of grip. An important feature of the pattern is the increased width of the grooves, as well as the presence of special protrusions in them. This allows the tread to intensively self-clean not only from small dirt particles but also from stones, which significantly increases the reliability and performance of the tire when operating outside of paved roads.
Key features of Tracmax GRT928
- The tread pattern with continuous transverse edges provides excellent traction on dirt roads when moving in both directions;
- The increased depth of the tread pattern, the use of a particularly durable rubber compound minimizes the risk of mechanical damage to the tread when operating in the most difficult conditions;
- A special carcass structure, the use of steel cord with an increased cross-section provides the tire with reliable protection against impacts.
