Commercial tire Omsk O-40-BM-1 is designed for use on dump trucks and other special equipment used in so-called "mixed" conditions. It is installed on the driving axle. It is distinguished by increased traction and stability on dirt roads, carrying capacity and resistance to any mechanical damage.

The tread pattern of the tire is distinguished by large blocks of complex shape, distributed in groups of several elements each. In combination with their "checkerboard" arrangement, this increases the contact patch, improving traction and handling on paved roads. These properties are further enhanced by the division of blocks into two and three parts. In the shoulder areas, they form long transverse edges, allowing even very powerful traction effort to be effectively implemented on dirt roads.
