Description Кама 1260-1
The all-season cargo tire Kama 1260-1, produced by one of the leaders of the domestic tire industry, is designed for the all-wheel drive modification of the KAMAZ 4310 truck. This model is distinguished by good operational characteristics at a fairly democratic price.
Given the application on an all-wheel drive truck, this tire is equipped with a symmetrical directional tread pattern with a V-shaped design, which is distinguished by a large number of separate blocks. A distinctive feature of this tire is its versatility, which is ensured by the combined tread pattern.
In the central part of the tread, a large number of blocks are located at a small distance from each other, grouped into powerful diagonal blocks. This made it possible to provide a fairly large contact patch area and its stable size regardless of the driving mode, which ensured excellent traction with solid surfaces. At the same time, it was possible to maintain high traction and adhesion indicators outside of solid surfaces, thanks to the numerous sharp edges formed by the blocks in the central part of the tread. The large distance between the groups of tread blocks made it possible to minimize the risk of clogging the tread with sand, mud, and stones, which significantly improved the passability.
The shoulder areas of the Kama 1260-1 tire tread are represented by two rows of powerful and high ground-gripping devices, which provide more confident overcoming of off-road sections with unstable soils - sand, mud, and snow. When designing the tire carcass, the harsh operating conditions on off-road were also taken into account. To this end, the carcass was equipped with a steel cord, which provided high tire strength without compromising its elasticity.
The main features of the Lower Kama tire Kama 1260-1
- The optimized V-shaped design of the directional symmetrical tread pattern provides excellent traction on various types of surfaces;
- Relatively low rolling resistance, which made it possible to achieve good fuel economy indicators;
- Excellent passability indicators, thanks to the large number of blocks in the central part of the tread and the powerful ground-gripping devices located in the shoulder areas.
