The commercial tire Crosswind CWS20E is recommended for installation on the steering axis of high-capacity trucks. It is characterized by improved traction properties on wet and snowy surfaces, fuel efficiency, increased mileage, smooth ride, and comfort in handling.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of a large number of lamellas. They are arranged in such a way that they form virtually continuous transverse edges in the contact patch, which provides high deceleration intensity on wet and snowy surfaces. A special rubber compound that can maintain elasticity at low temperatures significantly enhances this ability of the tire. Special components in the composition of this compound provide the tire with good resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears, increasing its mileage in the most difficult operating conditions. It's worth noting the presence of enlarged longitudinal ribs on the edges. These elements improve handling accuracy and directional stability, preventing rapid tread wear.
Key features of Crosswind CWS20E
- a large number of lamellas provide high braking properties on wet and snowy surfaces;
- small notches on the edges of the longitudinal ribs further enhance the tread's resistance to abrasive wear;
- enlarged shoulder ribs improve handling accuracy and directional stability, slowing down the tread wear process
