The Crosswind brand is owned by the North American company TBC, founded in 1945. The firm is engaged in the sale of various tire products in the USA and Canada. Its development and production are carried out by third-party companies. The Crosswind brand is used for tires intended for passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks, primarily North American brands.

A significant part of the tire assortment is represented by tires for full-size pickups, SUVs, and pickups of North American brands. Due to their size and weight, these vehicles are close to light trucks, which significantly narrows down the possibilities for choosing tires for them. It is these tires that make up the core of the Crosswind tire range. These models are distributed across the following categories:

- for paved roads;
- for mixed operating conditions;
- for dirt roads.

Tires for paved roads are typical representatives of the High Terrain category, except for the size range, which includes options for wheels with a mounting diameter of 22 inches. Such tires are characterized by balanced driving properties, comfort in handling, reduced rolling resistance, and low noise, as well as high mileage. The use of a reinforced carcass provides the tire with high reliability and allowed the manufacturer to provide a warranty of 80,000 kilometers of mileage.

Tires for mixed operating conditions also have a wide range of sizes, including exotic sizes such as 35x12.50R20. These models are All Terrain category tires and externally differ in a universal tread pattern with sufficiently large blocks. They are effective both on highways and on dirt surfaces, primarily of medium and high stiffness. They differ from their "asphalt" analogs in even more durable carcasses and reinforced sidewall construction. In addition, compounds with increased resistance to cuts and tears, rather than wear, are used in them. At the same time, the depth of the tread pattern and the thickness of the tread are significantly increased, which further increases the level of protection of the tire from various external influences.

The most robust "truck" tires are models of the Mud Terrain category, designed for operation primarily on soft and medium-stiff dirt surfaces. As in the case of All Terrain category tires, they offer a wide range of sizes - several dozen sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter from 15 to 20 inches. Such tires are distinguished by the most aggressive tread pattern with a large number of blocks with high walls and wide grooves between them. Due to the optimization of the arrangement of elements, the tire remains effective and sufficiently quiet on paved roads. It is worth noting the significant depth of the tread pattern. In the largest tire modifications, this figure reaches 12.5 mm, which is the standard for tires used in heavy-duty trucks. This increases mileage and reduces the risk of puncture damage. But much more protection is provided by the use of particularly durable compounds and reinforced additional layers of steel cord carcass and breaker. Such features guarantee a long service life and reliability of the tire, which is in the most unfavorable conditions for it.
