The commercial tire Cordiant Professional DM-1 has recently appeared in the assortment of the domestic manufacturer, as well as the entire line of truck models in general. Like any other, such a tire is designed for certain application conditions. In this case, these are the driving axles of trucks used in the construction sector. This played a special role in the choice of technologies that were applied in the development of this model.

In particular, the Double Tread technology was used here. Its essence lies in the two-layer design of the tread. Its "basic" layer, located inside, is made of a rubber mixture with minimal hysteresis losses. It protects the tire from mechanical damage, not only when driving on unevenness, but also when replacing the tread. This tire allows for repeated performance of this procedure, which significantly increases the service life.

The Smart-Cor technology is also directly related to the composition of the rubber mixture. Its essence lies in the use of a compound that, in addition to silica, contains special polymeric compounds. They significantly increase the resistance of the tread to cracking, as well as to abrasive wear, which guarantees a long service life even in unfavorable conditions.
