The appearance of the model is due to the practice of so-called "reverse technology transfer", characteristic of Chinese companies that collaborated with foreign automakers, producing their developed cars at enterprises in China. In this case, the units and components of the Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50 pickups were used, including, first of all, a 2.4-liter diesel engine with turbocharging, which worked in "pair" with a 5-speed manual transmission. The base versions had rear-wheel drive, and the more expensive ones had classic four-wheel drive with mechanical connection of the front wheels.

Second generation

In 2017, the Chinese brand introduced a pickup truck of the next generation, which differed from its predecessor by a different body design, having not a single common part with it, including the wheel arches, which became rectangular. The interior has also undergone significant changes, with a new front console and an enlarged display of the multimedia system. The list of additional options has been significantly expanded, including imitation leather upholstery, satellite navigation, rear-view camera, climate control, keyless entry, and a button to start the power unit.

In technical terms, the pickup stood out with a fully updated engine range. The base versions were equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged "four" representing a licensed Ford EcoBoost with 205 horsepower and 325 Nm of torque. It was combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-range "automatic" from ZF. As an alternative, a 2.4-liter diesel engine with turbocharging from the Duratorq family from the same Ford was offered, which, after another cycle of modernization, became more powerful, producing up to 140 horsepower and 375 Nm. This power unit worked only with a 6-speed "mechanics". Depending on the configuration, the pickup had standard discs and tires with diameters of 16 and 17 inches.
