The electric hatchback Dacia Spring with increased ground clearance was announced in 2020. But its full-fledged release was postponed due to the pandemic and took place in 2021. Note that this is the first fully electric model in the lineup of the Romanian manufacturer. Technical Features

The hatchback is built on a versatile CFM-A platform, with a number of changes that are due to European safety requirements. An electric motor with 44 hp is used as the power unit, which is powered by a 27.4 kW battery. Its full charge is enough to cover a distance of up to 230 km. However, the car's acceleration to 100 km/h is quite slow - 19.1 seconds. Meanwhile, the car is distinguished by its relatively low cost, which has made it accessible to a wide range of consumers.

Update

In 2022, the manufacturer performed a restyling, which brought a number of changes to the exterior (radiator grille, different emblem) and interior. The power unit began to produce 45 hp, and the weight of the vehicle decreased to 970 kg.
In 2024, another facelift was performed, which brought the hatchback to a single corporate style. The bumpers and lighting were modified. New body colors appeared, and wheels of a different design began to be installed. Note that many elements were changed, although the overall design remained unchanged. Now there are several engine options: from 44 to 64 kW. And the battery capacity is only one - 26 kW. It allows you to cover a distance of up to 220 km on a single charge.
