The Cupra Born is a fully electric car from "Seat", based on the MEB platform, and in particular the Volkswagen ID.3 model. From its "base", the novelty differs in a more aggressive design, a redesigned LED optics, both front and rear. Original R20 wheels are installed as standard. The electric car is offered in two versions of the power unit. The base version has a 150 hp engine and a 45 kWh battery under the hood, with which you can cover a maximum of 340 km. The drive is only rear-wheel. The second, more "charged" version has a 204 hp power unit and a 58 kWh battery. Its charge is enough to cover up to 420 km. Also, the maximum e-Boost option is provided, which can be optionally equipped with a 77 kWh battery. Its power rating is 231 hp.

The suspension has been significantly redesigned, becoming more rigid, which allowed to increase the responsiveness of the steering. The brakes have also been increased to improve the level of safety. Note that for an additional fee, you can install an adaptive suspension, which will help make the ride more comfortable.

As for charging, the car supports fast energy replenishment mode from a source up to 125 kW.

In 2024, the electric car underwent a number of modifications that did not strongly affect its appearance. But the battery packs were increased to 82 and 84 kWh. This made it possible to increase the autonomy of the transport to a maximum of 504 km.
