Technical differences

Despite the name, which was partially inherited from the lower model, the car uses a platform from the flagship Tang. The multi-link rear suspension and wider track were also taken from it. From the start of sales, a line of versions was available, differing from each other in powerplant and front-end design. The "base" of them was a modification with a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline "four" engine, which developed 185 hp and a 7-speed "robot" with a dual clutch. An alternative to it was a version with a traction electric motor located on the front axle of the same power and a battery that provided a range of up to 505 km. In 2022, the gasoline modification was removed from serial production as part of the electrification of the entire model range of this Chinese brand. Its place was taken by a version with a hybrid powerplant, consisting of a 1.5-liter "atmospheric" engine with a capacity of 110 hp, which is used as a generator. The traction on the front wheels is transmitted from an electric motor that develops up to 197 hp and 325 Nm of torque before the 2023 update, and 204 hp and 310 Nm after. However, for exceptional cases, the possibility of parallel operation is provided. The internal combustion engine is connected through a 1-stage reduction gear and clutch. In the "basic" version, such a version is equipped with an 18.3 kWh battery, and in a more expensive configuration - 26.6 kWh, which allows you to overcome up to 110 or 150 km on electric traction, respectively. Another innovation of the updated crossover was the appearance of another, more powerful version, which develops 218 hp and 330 Nm, and is equipped with a more capacious battery, which increased the range to 605 km.

Salon

Regardless of the configuration, the crossover has a 5-seat salon, the design of which is executed in a minimalist corporate style, "brand" for all cars of the brand. It differs from most "classmates" with a virtual instrument panel with several display options, LED backlight that changes the mode of glow depending on the genre of music playing in the salon. The central element of the front panel is a 12.8-inch display with a rotation mechanism, thanks to which it can be installed manually horizontally or vertically. In addition to "multimedia", it controls the operation of the climate system. Another feature is the front seats with integrated head restraints and electric drive. In addition to them, the standard equipment of most versions includes a panoramic roof, cruise control, as well as 19-inch wheels.
