If Avon made snow tyres last winter. Our Avons were brilliant. Needed one new front tyre and the shop was only selling Wanli snow tyres in my size. Replaced both front tyres. Wanli............never again. In the wet I, probably, lose 50bhp, braking is terrifying and in corners I find myself needing to move like an 80-year-old driver in a Micra just to stay on the road, when I take a corner!

I bought these tires based on reviews from this place despite never having heard of this brand before. So far I don't regret the decision! Previously I ran Dunlop Sport 9000S and GY Eagle F1s (GSD3s) on my E39 M5. The F1s were better on balance, good dry grip and were very durable (20k miles on the rear). However the penalty for grip on wet roads was a threat, 3rd gear would struggle

Spent two seasons on the "tyres of doom". Now I'm getting ready for my third. I'm extremely satisfied with the tyres, they have a very confident grip even at 240km/h. They're very quiet. They handle wet asphalt very well and don't hydroplane. I was particularly impressed by their durability to impacts. About 40 mile intervals during this time these tires were / were amazing. Much better than Michelin's... My car is now quiet while driving. No more rear-end shimmying. Can't say how happy I am with this purchase.

I owned my 1999 Golf GTI Turbo for 7 years, and these tires are, to date, the best I've ever used. They seem to wear very well to this day, and the build quality seems quite robust. The grip and road feel are fantastic, and genuinely complement the car entirely.

Great tyre, used in very wet conditions during the wetter winter months in the UK. Handling is very good even with significant surface water on motorways. Not very good in snow, so a winter tyre would be recommended. Noise level a bit higher than I'd like. Wear is very good, which may contribute to noise level.

I had five sets of these years for many years. Outstanding value for money. As why IV gets 45 profiles might look like I run 50 profiles, it's because the tyre is more square at the top as it meets the tread of the tyre, whereas others make, have more rounded edges at the top. Good in the dry, excellent on wet roads. Not very good when the temperature drops (below 5°C), but better than the Goodyear Eagle F1 I had before. Wear is good for soft tyres. Previous tyres were Goodyear NCT5 RFT for run flat operation. The Vredesteins excel in almost every single aspect. Wet and dry grip, comfort, noise level and noise. Fantastic grip on the road in both wet and dry conditions, I'd say it puts some of the big brands to shame. I haven't experienced snow as we don't get much of it in the UK. I would highly recommend these tyres for any vehicle.

Phenomenal grip. I upgraded these tires from the factory ones I had on which I'd only driven about 80 - 100 miles on. I bought the Sessanta because it came in second in a test I saw with the Eagle F1 coming out on top, but the Eagle was a lot more expensive when I was shopping around. I noted the mid tread wear but I haven't had them long enough to know for sure, but that's not why you buy a set of
