An interesting tread, my husband bought it for intercity trips so he wouldn't be afraid of puddles. According to reviews, it should handle them well. The tire is not too noisy, we thought it would be worse, it's quite rigid. In general, we're satisfied, we haven't been on the highway yet, but in the city, there have been no problems in two days.
