Good tire, drove on it for 3 seasons, first season could not be happier, especially in the rain. Sideslip is soft, it slightly sways the car, but it is very soft on small potholes.

Excellent tire for Irish weather. Previous spin will be wheels on a whisper on wet conditions. After 10,000 kilometers of driving on these tires I have yet to do this. Handle well on dry, as I have also to push them beyond their limits when the old various tires on the rear give up traction far before the Uniroyals come close to losing grip. Initially, I thought they were faulty, dry and wet traction was so poor. They also added at least 2mpg to my fuel consumption making it very pricey. On braking they were hopelessly unstable and still poor. Combined traction improved but still heavy compared to the Goodyears previously.

I've run many different makes on my Volvo & then Saab over the last 7 years (incl. Pirelli & Goodyear), and this is without a doubt the best all round tyre. Of course great in the dry and wet, good level of comfort and noise. Really hard to fault - excellent in every aspect including value for money. There may be others that are just as good all rounders, but I haven't found them yet. Until Uniroy

Great tyre! Often used on the track, no problem, but now there are some spare wheels with R888 for track use. Can't get a bit better for road use, and I've tried many tyres!

I genuinely can't believe how good these tyres are. I know 205 rims, how they go in the basket as is, but this is even better than the Goodyear GSD3 Eagle F1s which is where, when I bought it! Superior all-around performance from Uniroyal over the years. If I had Toyo Proxes on prior and can say without a doubt that Uniroyals offer better traction and a more engaging feel. Performance in heavy snow this year was better than the Toyo's, but still they are not a winter tire so don't expect miracles!

The sidewall is too weak on this tire - two tires had sidewall failures. Previously I was on Bridgestone Potenza RE050A on the same vehicle and roads without any sidewall issues. The RainSport tires also twist under turns.
