Tyre reviews Torero MP-82 Conquerra. Page 2 24

I installed the MP-82 on my Tiguan in the spring - not because I really wanted to, but rather because I had to try something new with the tires. The brand is not premium, but, of course, it's familiar - I've read reviews, seen it in the parking lot of my colleagues at work. I discussed it with them, listened to their opinion, and bought it. The tire really smoothly absorbs potholes, doesn't transmit extra vibrations to the steering wheel. It's surprisingly grippy in the rain, especially when cornering. On asphalt, on dirt roads - it's stable everywhere. The noise level is average, but it doesn't interfere. I'm very pleased that the tread pattern doesn't get clogged with dirt. For a crossover, as the guys said, it's quite suitable.

Many people praise Torero, and now I understand why. I decided to try the MP 82, I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the technical nuances of tires, so I'll just share my impressions. The tires are quiet - compared to my previous tires, these ones make almost no noise, even on the highway. I liked the comfort in terms of softness - potholes and asphalt joints have become less noticeable, the car rides smoother, and doesn't rattle.

I purchased these tires when they were still under the Matador brand (made in Russia). The tires fully meet my needs and driving style. They are installed on a short Vita, and my spouse is the main driver. There is some noise, which blends in with the overall background noise as the speed increases. The tires do a good job of indicating the transition from smooth asphalt to rougher surfaces. In terms of ride comfort, they handle small bumps well, but larger bumps can be felt, although over four seasons, I haven't had a single puncture - likely due to the high profile and low vehicle weight. The tires provide sufficient braking and cornering grip on dry asphalt; there's one interesting turn in the city where I experimented by taking it at 100 km/h, and while the sidewalls start to flex and the car begins to sway from side to side, there's no squealing from the tires. I drive calmly on wet roads. I was surprised by their off-road capability in mud! We often drive to pick mushrooms and berries in rough terrain, and these tires have handled it surprisingly well. Last season, the noise from the tires increased, and they became more sensitive to road grooves, which was previously almost unnoticeable. Apparently, the rubber has become slightly harder. For the price, they are a good option.
