I was looking for a budget-friendly option for 205x55x16, within the range of $80-$100 per tire. The car is a 2006 JETTA 1.9TDi and the conditions are only urban driving in winter. I considered alternatives from "Beltex", "AMTEL", and "Federal", but then noticed "Sunny" which I had never heard of before and wasn't even familiar with. After trying out the "Beltex"

Before buying the Sunny SN3970 tires, I encountered a problem with reviews, and after thoroughly searching the internet, I found nothing. There is a similar-looking tire, the Firenza ST-08, which has numerous reviews stating it is noisy, producing a hum between 60 and 90 km/h, and so on. I also looked at the Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX, but the price tag was 25 rubles per set. In short, I took a risk and bought

Bought only for economy reasons (225.45.17) on the GTI. Passed a season, now it's on an Octavia. Verdict: in two seasons (on cars with not the weakest engines) 4 studs flew out and the tread wear is 25% - a good result. Holds the road on ice and on snow at 4. Does not cut corners at all. Noise - just like all studded tires. Will go for the third season, I am

I've now driven my Passat 2.5 V6 diesel for the second winter and I'm extremely pleased. The low-profile tyres (hydroplaning?) - no matter if it's slush, snow, getting stuck or losing traction - the steering wheel is always in control! I know what I'm talking about, I've always made it through the winter season without a single problem. However, when the tyre is new, you have to be careful, it's very soft and can

I bought it by chance. The price and the tread design pleased me. The tire cleans itself well. I don't see any wear on the tire. I don't drive more than 120. It behaves well on the track as well as in the snow, mud. It goes through serious potholes softly. There is no noise, howl. It's soft. The balancing is good. I bought it without studs. Without extra lubrication, the gear lever would pop out of

Excellent in the snow. Less good on wet roads and slightly slower in corners.

Full winter tyre that performs well throughout the year, especially in the United Kingdom, where there are typically some winter driving conditions at any given time of year.

I highly recommend - I was skeptical about buying a tire online, but the local garage has already mounted it, which they commented on the quality of the tire.

After 2 seasons, the front tire has to be replaced due to a cracked sidewall. Another had similar signs of wear without any external damage to both of them! Extremely low quality rubber....
