I bought 215/55/R17 in the beginning of summer for my ODIC. Extremely noisy. They would be fine in city traffic, but on the highway at speeds above 80 km/h on rough or potholed asphalt, it's like driving on a wet road. The car is thrown from side to side and can't hold the road. At speeds above 120, it's terrifying. I drove on a bridgestone for 4 years and didn't know what 140

It's very good and safe, I was in 2 feet of water at 80 (floods) and the tires didn't care at all! Corning in the wet is good too! The drive comfort is not as good as the Continental and there's now only a tenner difference in price! But they are obviously longer! I would buy them again but I got a deal with the Cont PC5!

These tyres are exceptional, still performing very well after 6+ years and over 85000kms. Their performance on wet or flooded roads is truly exceptional. I have done several kilometres on mountain roads, riding over sharp stones without any issues. On the other hand, they lack traction on snow. If you're looking for a summer high-performance tyre, this is a good and recommended choice.

The first 150km were a nightmare in terms of roadholding and steering, it was like I'd bought a lemon for a steal.

After the 150km, I took it to a normal tyre specialist and it all came right. The braking is excellent, they grip well on corners, and I drove 200km on a slippery road and they performed perfectly. In general, I'm recommending them, I don't regret buying them.

I can't believe my eyes when reading these positive reviews for these tires, the reviewers must be smoking or sniffed something really bad before saying they are good. These tires will succeed in only one thing, being cheap.

Very good quality/price ratio. Well, the behaviour on dry and wet road with Michelin profile, including during heavy rain (storms) tested on Mt Aigoual in 2010 with 20 Cms of snow, more correct on the trajectory and the tyre's hand doesn't thermogum Bmols: it usually breaks after 18 months and two years improves road noise, but considering the price, it's more than acceptable.

225/50/17 I expected worse, but so far it's not bad at all. The first 100 kilometers didn't hold the road as confidently, but then the storage preservative finally wore off and it's a completely different story. Previously, I had Pirelli Dragon, they are noisier and harder.

I have fitted a pair of them to the front of my car as a short-term solution, as I am changing to a different size in the near future. Their tread pattern looks very good (asymmetric) and the sidewalls offer very good rim protection. They provide adequate control for everyday highway cruising in

Compared to the Continental Sport Contact that preceded them, these tires have an amazing braking ability. Contis would send ABS into a frenzy while they just stuck to the road. Lateral capability on dry was not quite as good, giving a bit of slip where Contis gripped harder - but a completely predictable and manageable slip, not at all unsettling.

Very disappointed with these tires, only lasted 10,000 miles compared to 18,000 on the factory fitted Bridgestone Potenza RE040 without changing driving style. Nowhere near as good as the Bridgestones in any conditions and tramlined something awful. Also had balancing issues.
