Tyre reviews Federal Super Steel 595. Page 3 1707

Fair grip, but the tire starts to crack badly between the treads, although it's only 6 months old. The tire will become dangerous long before the tread is worn out. Not recommended, I'm afraid there are many better budget tires.

I was very impressed with the Federals. The price point was great, and the performance turned out to be even better. They also offer a big progressive break without excessive noise (i.e. squeeling), which can be found with other tire brands. The Federals may be the best dollar-to-performance ratio I've encountered. Just superb.

Very good tires, possibly my favorite for the money. better on stopping than Falken FK452, but possibly not as stable on wheels when accelerating. These tires seem better on heavier cars too I've noticed.

I had these on my 240SX and they were great, I really wish they came in some bigger sizes so I could use them on my current car. They held up well on dry and big on wet roads. Not all tires are with any means, but they were great for everyday driving.

I was expecting better for a softer tire. Right after I got them someone cut me off and of course I locked up all 4 wheels and skidded to avoid hitting them. However I went 30,000 miles with flat spots on all 4 tires. Needless to say it wasn't comfortable to drive but I wasn't about to throw them away considering they were almost new.

I loved the look of these tires, and they wore very well. In fact, they still had plenty of tread on them when I changed them, but I was forced to change them due to the awful, frightening road noise. They wore down to the tread pattern on the edges, which made them noisy and impossible for the garage to balance. Real shame, because for appearance and dress, they were wonderful!

I've had 2 sets. Good traction and the last one equally, also Bridgestone/Contis for a fraction of the price. But they're noisy, and the ride is a bit rough. Renters slide, and it didn't make it on them. So, I switched to HUMO which is much better.

These tires were surprisingly good for the price. Like with most summer tires, don't use them in snow. The grip on wet surfaces was okay, but it got worse and worse as they aged. The rears are toast, but that's because I drive like an idiot. The fronts still have good tread on them.

They're really good tires for their price, grippy as hell on dry, and good grip on wet too. Don't listen to peaple saying they're noisy, it's completely not true. Great tires

I found these tires to be excellent for normal and wet road conditions. They also look great on the vehicle. However, the tire's traction on snow can be characterized as poor at best. Good value for the price.
