Last winter on black ice at a speed of just 40 - 60 I flew off the road!!!!!!!! For a DRY winter, it's an excellent option, but in Odessa, the last few winters have not been dry. In snow, it's not bad, but far from ideal. On wet cobblestone, it doesn't hold the road. I regret saving money... I would have been better off with NOKIAN or Dunlop.

Don't take these tires, I've had a crap time on them for two winters, but last March I couldn't take it and left them on the mount. The rubber gets so rigid in the cold that the car turns into a sled. And as for ice, I don't even want to talk about it. Now I've switched to Viatos Brinz, they're stickier, but at least they're a hundred times better than VS-1.

They were magnificent in the snow, had the grip of winter tires on a wet road! On a wet road I wanted wheel lock-up in the thirds, in my 1.6 diesel Kia.
