Tyre reviews Cordiant Winter Drive 2. Page 1 1456

Good day! My review of these tires, the car has driven about 8,000 km, winter from 21-22. I've been using only studded tires for a very long time. Since I live outside the city, I'll tell you about the pros and cons. They handle icy roads quite well if you're moving at a safe speed, there's no question of 120 km/h. On wet snow and wet slush, they hold the road very well, no aquaplaning was noticed, and on dry asphalt, everything is fine. In frost, the rubber does not become brittle. After 8,000 km, there is almost no wear.
In terms of comfort, it's not very noisy, it brakes on ice... it brakes, of course, a bit worse than studded tires, but on snowy slush, it brakes well, and the car doesn't skid. On snow, it moves perfectly, and as for fuel economy, I have no idea, I think +/- 150 grams of fuel doesn't matter. It was balanced perfectly. The tire is good.

I was not expecting such an effect from the tires, they are simply phenomenal. We drove on vacation along the Golden Ring, on the road, on snow, ice, and slush, but they hold the road confidently, brake and accelerate well. They handle slush very well. They are generally very quiet, quieter than the summer ones, and they don't feel the road camber as much. They grip snow very well. I recommend them.

Great tires! They perform excellently on all surfaces, are very predictable, well-balanced, and meet the price-quality ratio, a wonderful import substitution option!

On front-wheel drive (Golf 6), it performed very well in all road conditions. On all-wheel drive (A4), surprisingly, it was slightly worse. On snow, it handles excellently, self-cleaning very well. On dry and wet asphalt, it also performs well. It's quiet, with no noise or hum even at speeds of 160+. However, with braking and handling on ice, things are much worse, due to the lack of studs. On front-wheel drive, it behaves predictably enough. On all-wheel drive, the significantly better acceleration dynamics and speed of movement are noticeable, and accordingly, it's more difficult to brake on ice, which should be taken into account. Over two seasons on different cars, it never let me down. If you're taking friction tires, you shouldn't expect ice performance like studded tires. The price/quality ratio is maximally balanced. It's twice as cheap as top tires, while performing very dignifiedly. If compared to budget Tigar Winter (there was experience of operation on Mazda 6), then Cordiant is undoubtedly better in all parameters, the difference is colossal.

I'm very satisfied with the tires. Previously, in the winter, I mainly drove on studded tires from a well-known manufacturer. These tires are significantly quieter and softer compared to them, only conceding in handling at speeds over 130 and in traction on bare ice.

Good tires, solid 4+. To be honest, I didn't expect such characteristics for this price. But for ice, of course, you need studs,

It's hard to evaluate all the listed characteristics, but what I definitely want to write is - on snow, ice uphill, in slush - it rides like a tank. Second season, still soft, high tread.

I bought them to replace KUMHO Winter Kraft WP, the difference is immediately noticeable when driving on packed snow in favor of Cordiant, very soft tread, I thought it would wear out quickly, but after 10,000 km this winter, I haven't even noticed any wear.

A fully worthy tire of the economy class. I didn't find any shortcomings for myself. There were questions about balancing on one wheel, but maybe this is a problem with the disks or the qualifications of the tire fitting staff. Quiet, almost noiseless. They handle snow confidently. Absolutely worth their money and suitable for those who don't chase a brand.
