I installed Snow Cross 2 in winter 2023 on my Volkswagen Passat — the reason for the choice was simple: there's a lot of ice and black ice on my way to work, I needed studded tires with a safety margin. The studs work reliably: braking on ice is much shorter, and the confidence when starting is great. On snow — the traction is decent, the car doesn't skid. As for noise — the studs are audible, especially on dry asphalt, but that's expected. Handling on the highway at 90–100 km/h is smooth, at higher speeds you need to be more careful. Fuel consumption has increased slightly in the winter, but it's not critical for the sake of safety. If you often encounter ice — this is what you need.

Everything is fine! We waited for a long time, but it was worth it. The tires are good, soft.

Excellent tires, just very noisy.
Sold the car with mileage on these tires in the salon. I thought it was some nonsense. I drove out - a terrible hum, I thought the hubs were killed. In the end, it turned out to be the tires. Functionally, the tires are top-notch, they confidently hold the road, and they handle snow and ice well. With plus temperatures warming up outside, of course, they soften, like all of them, and their effectiveness drops. But if you compare them to Nokian Nordman 5, which were on my previous car, they are much better and don't turn into a complete mess, you can still drive. I don't drive much in the winter, I've only driven about 8000 km over 2 seasons. Over this time, 95% of the studs are still in place, and in St. Petersburg, I often have to drive on dry asphalt.
In general, my conclusion is: the driving properties of the tires are excellent, but the noise is a drawback. However, to be honest, over time you get used to the hum, so it's like you don't even hear it.

Installed on Solaris a couple of days ago, balanced for five. So far on the street +5, snow and ice are still ahead, but I think everything will be great, since the tread is practically a copy of Nordman 8.

The tire is good, not too noisy. I'll add more if I don't forget after the season

Changed tires in advance - it's more reliable, although there's a risk of losing studs. Which is what eventually happened - over the season, I lost about three studs on the front wheels. And as for driving, I have nothing bad to say - on the highway and in the city, it's all the same.
